Barlow Prize Announced

The Barlow Endowment competition for composers was a success! Mr. Benjamin Ellin has won the Barlow Prize. He will be composing a new work for me which will be premiered with the Brigham Young Philharmonic. More information about Mr. Ellin can be found by cliking on the link below. World Premiere

When practicing a difficult technical passage, be sure to fragment. Play the first four notes ten consecutive times without errors. Then practice the next four notes the same way. Fuse these two groups together and continue working in this manner. Use a metronome.
